as I don't have Brinsea I can't comment.
But if I had property I'd be toasting a couple to raise in my poor little Turn-x

Neither do I. A Brinsea I mean. I think it was mentioned if it could fit in a Brinsea and when I saw your pic, I was just saying NO WAY.

I have the TX too. I LOVE them. Just got another. The RX is too big for me now because of the lack of a roo and land.

Nancy

If you ever need a home for the RX just give me a holler!

Oh no I'm so sorry.

Today wasn't a good day for some of us I guess.

I got a wheaten or of some BCM eggs a while back. Matter of fact I got 2. A roo and a pullet. Unfortunately I had 2 Game hens that when they were together would attack my other hens. One day I came home to the youngsters coop open and found my pullet dead behind a bush with her head pecked. Notice I said HAD on the Game hens. I got rid of one and the other is find now. Matter of fact I have an AM that when she sees her, chases her off. Made a big difference getting rid of the other one. I still have my little roo, but neither of the wheatens got the feathered legs.

from here, too.

I'll offer a doz eggs as a prize if there is a contest going that *needs* a prize.
I decided to peeonthefireandcallinthedogs for this weeks' hatch. I want to take the hatcher apart and clean it before time for the eggs set the 18th (and duck eggs set the 11th) to go in. The hatcher this week was the incubator I loaned out that came back so nasty --- I scrubbed/bleached best I could, lined the whole bottom with foil, poked vent holes, and called it done). The foil may have dinked up the hatch ???
New week, new eggs to hatch.

Lisa

I've used oxine to clean mine for a long time- bleach is second fave.

Bargain- you are one generous lady! How awesome of you! I just wish no one qualified for this particular contest

I'm going to have to go shopping with you soon.

Anyone interested in the Easter Hatch, I'll be running another contest with a Bargain gift-cert giveaway again!

That was me! And my DH is worried about my 10 growing chicks on 5 acres!

Mind you, I am planing to split them into 4 breeding pens and buy a 'bator... plus add a few more breeds for a pretty multi colored basket of eggs.

Maybe he should be worried!

EDIT to add: OMG!!! I just saw how many pages I still have to read to catch up!
