I had to take the duck eggs I had set under my broody and bring them inside. When it got super cold my broody gave them up. Now I am freaked out because I have never hatched ducks in the bator before.

What I use is some Nutri Cal mixed with water. It is full of calories and fats that absorb fast. It works way better than sugar water. I've had chicks turn around really fast after using it on them.

Don't worry. Hatching duck eggs is the same as chicken eggs. Just spritz the eggs twice per day with warm water to up the humidity and help with the shrink wrapping. When hatching time comes add a bowl of warm water to the bator to help the humity for hatching.
