Maine

I've got a few week old chicks that will be going. Mixed breeds and they are also straight run. Lus a 17" Wintec 2000 saddle. I would like to pick up a couple of young Indian Runners if any are there.

my ameraucana lays an egg so light blue you'd think it was white.

At first that's what I thought too, we have 2 Ameraucana but I think they are too young still, they are about 12 weeks olds. I have 2 speckled sussex too that are 14 weeks old. I'm wondering if it's possible that my RR or Auracana could be the culprit.

if it's the auracana, you might consider that with the brown egg layers, the eggs get lighter as they go through the lay cycle, I found this true of my ameraucanas as well. if it is her, I would not keep chicks from her as they will pass on the poor egg coloring.
