Hoppy...The good news is 'it' all waits for you patiently most of the time![]()
Maybe others will see all you don't do and realize THEY can do it afterall. You can offer to cheer them on from the bench.
I know how you must feel, this is not a good time of year to be laid up ,just to much to dit's offical, I sprained my ankle. couldn't take it any more so went to the dr to have them confirm what I already knew. at least now that I'm doing everything I should be doing (except I refused to have an xray taken- that would be a waste of money, I know it's not broken) . so now I get to sit back, keep my foot up with ice off and on and think of all the things I need to get done that I'm not going to be doing for a bit longer. sucks that I can't run (which is how I injuried myself). she said 4- 6 weeks for it to heal. got a brace on it and that seems to help more then the ace bandage did. hoping to be feeling better for the skowhegan swap, I've got too much to do to be laid up.
if you get a bird from Hoppy you will not be disappointed. i have a sizzle grom her that is the best, most entertsining little chicken ever. and i just hatched one little chick from her that is already a very pretty little chick at just a week old.Wow, pretty. What do you know about Houdins? I haven't seen many and a friend has a couple she is offering me. I read a bit about them. Five toes like Silkies but polish with caps. Seemed neat. Does anyone keep them here in Maine? I was thinking that one of your birds might be okay for my daughter (with my help of course) but if you are keeping them then ... maybe a Houdin for her?
HELP: Looking for a nice black/lav split roo AM to breed to my hens. Anyone??
