Maine

I have babies due tomorrow! and I might have even more due. I have paint silkies in the incubator and then I have a pen of sizzles that I don't know when those are due. they were a bit unplanned. thinking somewhere between now and 2 weeks (that is if they would stop adding to the pile of eggs)

now that's a really handsome rooster in the backround!!!

glad he's fitting in.
Ha, I know, he sure is. Thank You! We finally named him- Cyrus- ( Trailer Park Boys reference- "he's not even from the coop!")
He is a little afraid of the buff girls- he runs whenever they look at him, they let him lay in the leaves with them today though, so he's making progress!

We put our first eggs in the incubator today! This is a first for us - I do not have high expectations but still hoping - even if I get one chick I will be happy!

no, you want at least 2 chicks. locating a buddy chick in a pinch is not fun.
peep peep peep (etc etc etc)
