Make shift incubator/hatcher?

I would not lay the eggs directly on a heating pad. Actually, the pad elevated above the eggs would be better. Or use the lamp above them.

Sponges in shallow bowls of water are good for humidity, or even a piece of quilt batting. Better than paper towels.

well I can't get the pad above the eggs so they will go on top of it maybe not directly (will come up with something tho) I decided not to glue in the glass viewer that was I can take it off and check things instead of taking the whole lid off. Ghetto bators gotta love them.

Do you have a toaster oven? Or something similar? They have wire racks. Cookie/cake cooling rack? Use something like bricks or books or anything to prop a wire rack up higher than the eggs, position the heating pad on top. Might work.
You need a tube? Do you have short attachments for your vacuum cleaner?
Just some ideas.

I'm only doing this cuz the dumb brinsea fan gave out in my smaller one. And the dodo seller on eBay has not claimed payment on the incubator I bought from him. Now my staggered hatches are going to be a pain in the butt cuz I won't have the incubator on time if at all.. if it looks too good to be true it just might be. Stupid seller.

You got this. Just go for it. Heres a mock up of my thoughts. Clementines are "eggs", tea towel is "heating pad". Like mama sitting on eggs. 20180328_123958.jpg 20180328_124050.jpg 20180328_124152.jpg
