Making the most of it.

So today I made monte cristos for dinner. Cracked open a dozen eggs... One of them had a tiny embryo attached to it. This is wierd. I collect my eggs everyday... There is no time for them to be sat on. Interesting to see, but don't want to see another.
Not likely an embryo, probably the chalazae.....did you take a pic?

Well made it through night two of incubation. The temperature held nice and steady at 99 to 100 degrees. Humidity about 37 to 40 degrees. No spikes, no drops. I think I'm finally figuring out the incubators temperament!!!! I knew this would be worth it for knowledge. Day seven can't get here fast enough.

Just hunkering down. Our street is flooded from our drive and down the street. High winds at 50 mph... And blinking lights... The kids were wet up to their knees coming hime

Wow, that's crazy! Is the rain supposed to end soon?

We had snow yesterday and last night, ended up with about an inch and a half but it's melted now:

The mountains look gorgeous now.

Hope you and the boys stay warm and dry!
