So here's one of my first 2 Malays! They are a couple weeks old healthy and doing great! What do you guys think about the quality of them so far? I paid a fortune for the hatching eggs!

There's only 1 malay pictured here! One more question how old are ur alls Malays when ur able to sex them? Has anyone been able to sex a newly hatched chick? I had 2 hatch and they had totally opposite combs one was totally flat and the other had a tiny raised line in the middle and now that they are getting feathers ones wing feathers have totally covered its back and the others are shaped different and doesn't totally cover its back and the one with full wing feathers also has its small tail feathers coming in before the other! They hatched the same day! Curious as to if they are a pair? Here's a pic of their combs the day after they hatched! You can see a noticeable difference!

After 3 mo, they have their saddle feather (on the back), then we can sex them for sure 100%. However, after 3 days, they start growing some wing feathers, then we can also sex them... about 60-70% accurate.

Awesome because both chicks have totally different looking wing feathers ill take a pic and post sometime today!

I was asking you. I would give you a pair of good birds,white, if you were close enough to pick them up. Even as chicks those birds don't look very Malay at all.
