Mallard Eggs day 30 and no internal or external pip. HELP!!!

X2

Abandoned egg? Where is the momma now? Was she sitting on eggs and kicked this one out??

It was an abandoned egg. There were no shells, and this one last egg was ICE COLD. The momma has not been seen in weeks. Were are thinking that a raccoon came and ate them, but why would it leave one egg!?!? If I were a raccoon, I would of taken all of the eggs! This egg was still in the nest, but again, ICE COLD.

When candled:

I am not sure can you detect any odor? seems if over due mallard it may be going rotten if not good. Lets get someone who hatches in a bator to look..Nothing floating around in there? air cell looks dipped. I candle alot when mine are sitting but looking at pics has never been my strong suit.

Nope! no odor or floating, dead things. Is it bad to have a "dipped" air cell? And it's ok! I'm not good at judging buy picture either!

Dipped air cell can mean duckling is getting ready to hatch. Have you seen any movement at all? I can usually see movement until about a week before hatch.
