@Blooie - as I read through this post I was struck by your kindness, positivity and faith. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
@lazy gardener - I am so sorry for anyone who suffers with migraines. I have never had a migraine, but my ten year old daughter has had them since she was two. At first we thought it was hypoglycemia since her trigger is fasting (they always occur on a morning after she has had a light/early dinner), we make sure she eats a spoon of peanut butter before bed every night which manages it pretty well. This past October she got a stomach bug, which brought on a migraine, and half her mouth stopped moving when she talked. The most scared I have been in my life was when the Instacare doctor told me I could drive her to the ER or he could call an ambulance. The ER doc explained to me about migraines that mimic strokes, which I had never heard of before.
