I wasn't intentionally insulting anyone, but if that's how people take certain phrases it can't be helped. From her/his post it seemed they thought the HP would shut off automatically and they were worried about that feature.
Ahhh okay, sorry for the misunderstanding then!! Its hard to tell on the Internet :/
I think it was mostly the bolded sentence that made them think it. I think maybe it was the collection of words or phrasing that got twisted cause it's hard to tell on the Internet and if they read it fast im sure they would hsve read it as you saying something about their reading comprehension simply because those words were in there but it's not what you meant, very hard to tell on the Internet and sorry :/ i think maybe you more meant if they fully read everything? But on the Internet its easy to misread
I don't know if you read comprehensively what people are saying when they refer to an "auto off" feature. This means the heating pad has a feature where it goes off automatically after two hours of operation....and these HPs we are using also have a feature that overrides the "auto off" feature so that the heating pad stays on continually....all the time...for months, if need be.
Unless someone lives in an area where the power goes off frequently, these HPs are not much of a risk at all. I've used them to incubate eggs for three straight incubations in a row without any issues...then used them to brood the chicks after they hatched.
