Hi all, So Im a total newbie getting chicks in the next month or so.
Do I really have to read through 800+ pages of posts to learn how to do this?  I started at the beginning and read about 30 pages but I was wondering if someone could just post a picture of the latest version of the MHP as Im sure it has gone through a few changes over the 800 pages

I dont want anything fancy just an easy effective way to raise my chicks up.  Its really cold here so I was going to start at least in my garage.  Can anyone elaborate on how to go about this as in should I start with it on a more medium setting instead of high because they are inside the garage?  I know you should just watch and see how your chicks do and adjust from there but I need a ballpark place to start because I know I will be a bit of a nervous nelly because Ive never done this before.  Thanks all!

Merry mouse, yes, you really do have to read through 800+ pages in order to use MHP.  But, on page 489, paragraph 3, subsection 4A, there is an exemption.  That being that you, the thread participant must provide and post a photograph of your MHP in action, and your little peeps.  If you notice in paragraph 4 of same page, there is an other exemption, which I have claimed, and that is that the thread participant is for all intents and purposes not able to complete the requirements of p. 489, paragraph 3, subsection 4A.  My claim to fame:  I am a techno idiot.  But, I can say that I highly recommend MHP, and recommend Sunbeam XPress due to multiple heat settings and the pad being washable.
