They are so sweet!!
I have been meaning to show this to you.. I have no idea where we got it ... it’s just been here :confused:... anyway, maybe it was with a fish tank or something... but this works great with scooping the sand.. the cat litter scoop does not work well.. maybe check pet stores that sell fish stuff...

Well, I did it.. I gave Kathryn to my friend/neighbor :(... I feel so bad for her.. when I first put her in it seemed all was good.. for about a minute.. then a few started their attack... but Kathryn is tough so she fought back! My friend says she is doing well.. I brought her over on Friday... so hopefully she settles in soon :fl
She said that she kept hopping up to a roost then back down again.. over and over :(.. I guess she is stressing... :confused:

The sand must have very small grains. That is very fine mesh. Interesting. Thanks for showing us.

The type i use has tiny pebbles to tiny itty bitty sand grains that way they can play with it. :D Play sand is all one size and works but the different sizes of grains i heard was better I'll try and take an up close photo later ;)

The sand falls right out.. I have some other type of sand mixed in that has sand and small rocks and pebbles... it holds the rocks and pebbles and the sand falls through... I don’t mind that.. I just toss em out with the poop.. I works wonderfully... and I do mostly use just play sand..
