Haha! Who doesn’t!? One of my boys is an extra in movies they film down here... he got to be part of “the Jimi Hendrix scene” in the lastest Bill and Ted movie.. he even had an official “fitting” for clothing... I’ll post a pic when I get ....

So... lots going on...

Monday night got friends incase lone egg hatched...

Then Tuesday evening i go out to fill waterer and i come up to a feather massacre all around the far side of the coop and run!!! Possible fox hijacking. At first 7 were missing, found two under deck, 2 more came home at sunset. We lost our beloved BBQ, and spaghetti and salt. We're now down to one rooster.
Today we went to pick up a few more friends, since I've never had true Amerucanas and wanted to try them.

Then I learned that the lone hatching egg had been dropped a few days ago, i go to tap it like someone suggested and boy it stank! So we cracked it open and found a perfectly formed black 16 day baby, with yolk separate from it and blood pooled. Means it's been sitting dead for 6 days now. So pretty upset!!

I'm just frustrated...

I'm so sorry for your loss. That would be just awful. I cannot imagine.
