Breakfast tacos. Each taqueria has their own twist. They are all good. One makes fluffy tortillas. One has meat that literally melts, it is so tender. The sauces are house made. Gringo mild or divine fire. I'm with AllenK, picoso is best.
However, hard to get a good gumbo, sausage or boudin here. Good thing I know how to cook. Allen, time to start learning. Or you could get a job in the taqueria kitchen. That might be fun too.
Crazy Lady and I were talking last night. The chickens from her childhood were a lot quieter than these that we have now. MaMom lived on a farm and the chickens were quite free range. Able to out produce all the predators. When they got too thick, the family got together and thinned. Lots of gumbo, mi cher! C'est bon!
