LOL....I'm no expert....just a newbie here. Yes, Ive read the same, and I have them all sitting in a egg carton with the bottoms cut out....my plan is to put them in the bator tonight....with the auto-turner turned off for a couple days....then get things moving. Sure hope this works..mattsinger: I couldn't tell you for sure, but I've been reading on the incubating thread, that you should let them sit for 12-24 hours (in a basement for example cause it's cool and moist) fat end up in a egg carton with the bottoms of the carton cut out. Then when you're ready to set them in incubator, leave them at room temp for several hours and keep them in the carton in incubator fat side up, no turning for a few days if air cells detached. Maybe you've already put them in your incubator. I don't even have my shipped eggs yet, so you're the expert!
