Maran hen or roo??

Pullet or Cockerel?? 10.5 weeks Mystic Maran. The black comb and wattles are throwing me off. This one is larger than the others. My husband said he heard a little one trying to crow and I’m trying to figure out who the culprit is

Someone also told me that Mystic Marans do not have black combs or wattles so it has to be a different breed. Is this true??

Any dark breed can get the black combs and wattles.

This looks like a female to me at that age. If it is indeed a Mystic Marans, those are sex linked, so you're home free.
