Maran s????

Darker one is definitely a cuckoo maran. Other maybe a barred rock?

All combs are brighter and larger on lighter set of birds. Took some photos

Ok, the darker chicks with pea comes are not marans (Not full blood any way) The older lighter chicks look to be Marans but I'm seeing some cockerals there only the French cuckoo maran have feathered legs the American variety do not you would need to post individual pics of them to see if we can get them sexed for you sweety

I'm not seeing any pea combs. They look like single combs to me. Can you circle the pea combs you are seeing on the photos?

I've looked closely at all the photos thinking I must have missed something but I can't see an obvious pea comb in any them!

I’m not seeing any pea combs either. Very stubby single combs, but no obvious pea combs to me either.

I see a lot of cockerels. I used to keep Cuckoo Marans, clean legged, and that does look like what you have. The boys are lighter in color

Every one of these birds are straight combs for sure. Yes i feel for some reason i was told pullets but all are cockreals on the lighter colored ones.
