I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Pinkchicks up & coming hatches!!!!

( and don't use up the good luck too soon, I have Blue Jersey Giant eggs coming from Wynette in May, remember....)

I'm thrilled with them! when does your hatching start? I would like some lavendar birds one day....some day....just not today...I've got my hands full right now hahah

these are the next eggs I'll be hatching...love their color in natural light...

I have 2 batches, a dozen from CHickieLady & 2 dozen from Harry Shaffer, in the incubators already just set within the last week & several more orders of eggs coming next week. I am in a hatching frenzy................No one knows what in the world I am going to do with all these birds.............I need a marketing stadegy....LOL. My feed bill will certainly rocket.....LOL I am sharing the Ameraucanas with someone else mostly & traded hatching eggs with one of the breeders so this is all so exciting. I guess I should have never gotten that new incubator it has sent me off the deep end. I even have Yohohama eggs coming for my son....LOL. I think I can provide the whole county $hers with birds but my offer at the meeting recently went unanswered????? Go figure????????????? They ordered from hatcheries instead I think.

There are some truly funny people on here...I love the not knowing what people will say next.
So, how many eggs total do you have going into the incubator this time? This next batch with those few shipped eggs, I'm going to put them in the hatch tray and keep them stationary in egg cartons for a few days like someone had suggested to see how they develop. I'm hoping it will help!

okay okay....I counted, ready?

16 eggs from CP, 32 of my own eggs all set for hatch on 3-23. OMG I think I need a bigger fish tank!

You are soooooooooooo right about the feeling you get just watching them come out. My grown 34 year old daughter that IS NOT a chicken person AT ALL Sat glued to the chair right in front of the clear incubator door for an hour in awe...................LOL. I reminded me of seeing a kid with his nosed pressed against the glass watching the puppies at the pet shop...............LOL

Since nobody is posting, I'll throw something out there....

I've just been invited by a certain person to drive out to her house tomorrow and pick up 3 BCM chicks and 1 Blue...

Now, it's up to the rest of you to figure out who & where....

haha...using up all your luck on hatches....I sure hope that's not possible...cause I hope like crazy every single hatch hahah
