I don't see any white feathers on the first roo either. I think it's the glare from the camera or the angle of the feathers with light reflecting off of them. I do see the white tail tip on the second roo, but that one should molt out I would think?

Do the blended type of hackle colors mean that the roo has a gene for the straw coloring? That would be the only concern for me with the first roo.
