Okay... I am taking my daughter Bride shopping!!

Good Lord, I am caught up AGAIN!

I sold a rooster today! Yippee - - It was one of my main crowers "THUNDER".
He is going to a fine home with 10 - 12 hens waiting to keep him busy.

I am getting ready to pack up the incubator and call it "GOOD" for this season.

.......I did the math yesterday and the chooks are going through about 1200+ lbs. of feed a month.

Yikes...I don't even know how much feed I use. I do know that right now....I have um....lots of birds. Most are younguns...but I'm in the process of culling and selling off some pullets for replacements in others laying flocks. I'm thrilled that I'm thinning down...but having a nice big lawn and a small pasture sure helps cut down the feed bill
