I'm definitely going to the sale over in Kansas coming up on the 17th of sept...but I'd like to make it to the sedalia show too and meet some of the people from here too. I'll have to see if I can work something to be able to go. I won't be bringing anything either, but won't say nothing will come home with me either if I go....

I learned a long time ago when it comes to birds...that if ya find something that ya like, snatch it up while ya see it. I passed up some birds last year and am still kicking myself for it.

how long of a drive is it for you up there?




It's been years since I went to Sedalia, but if memory serves (ha!), it was about a 3 hour drive, one way. Me and the truck are older now, so it may be more these days!

That's no too horrible of a drive. I looked it up and from here its probably a bit under 5. I'll have to see what I can do. Maybe that will give me some time to see if I can drum up a BLR Wyandotte and a Silver Penciled Wyandotte connection before then! That might take some work, but stranger things have happened. My girls need some men in their lives...and I need babies to grow out!

hey...I think you will appreciate this...do a search here on the forums for a lavender laced brahma and a champagne brahma. I don't know if my eyes will recover from the shock of such graceful colors! I've been thinking about getting some brahmas...well....if I can get those colors, that seals the deal!
