Does anyone know if incubator issues can cause eye issues - - like being farsight?

I know my silly Silkies can't see squat! Time to trim their crests around the eyes, I guess. They will run into my legs, take a step back, and cock their heads and look again. "So sorry, didn't see you there Mom".

They had their first good rain yesterday evening. They all stood there like Henny Penny, the sky is falling, and shook their heads, and then would leap up in the air! Funny little guys, for sure!

I believe that your Raven is a mix with a Wellie....I only think this because I have raised a few mixed BCM cross Wellies for the freezer. Her legs look the same color as the birds that I raised did and she has random brown spots in her feathers on her body if you look closely.

The blue Marans I believe is a male and you are right about the splash being a male too.

Trying throwing a 1/2 slice of bread out and the bird sees it fall and goes over to it and has to repeatedly try to hit it with her beak....
I am not talking pieces of bread, I am talking about a WHOLE 1/2 slice of bread.


I wondering if this is a genetics or incubator related issue....
