yahoooo! From what I can see you have a start there for sure. When I first glanced I thought maybe you had gotten a pair, but then I read the other is younger. I was thinkin you were holding out! haha... I took a few pics this morning since I'd gone up to my uncle's yesterday to do his chores and snagged back my camera charger. I don't know if I'll have time to load them before I go to work, but I'll try to get them done tonight if possible. I can't wait for more pics of the new arrivals of yours! I bet once they start understanding where the treats come from they will love you in no time!

Hmm, that could explain a lot here!

My Father did the same thing for most of his life, he lived till 80 God rest his soul. I can only do what I can do. The thought of having them all yanked and wearing dentures occurs to me every time I have to go through this though!

I'm a grinder as well. My dentist made me a mouth guard that protects my teeth. (But, alas, the brain damage may already be done in my case

Gosh, we have a lot in common!

I tried a mouth guard a couple of times. One made me gag, the other didn't seem to solve the problem, and I kept on grinding, harder even.

Yup, brain damage probably already set in here too, years ago!

No bantams, nooo. Sorry.

And no, the Blue Wheaten has yet to molt. He still looks terrible and sun-bleached as shown in the Wheatens thread.

Oh I had no idea there was a Marans thread! Kewl! I just hatched my first eggs ever and they were FBCM's that I carted back to Michigan from California. I am not breeding them, just wanted really pretty eggs. My bantam cochin is caring for the babies now but they are super cute! Here is one of the little fiesty chicks with momma:

one has copper fuzz on top of it's head. is that a sure sign that it's a roo? just curious.

They whole process was alot of fun. 5 chicks hatched of 9 (one egg was a dud though).

It sucks.... I vaccinate EVERY bird on my property since running into fowl pox last December.... Momma don't play with this one. I order several bottles of the chick and adult pox at a time so that I can vaccinate babies BEFORE I put them outside and then do the booster at 12 weeks. I order it from Jeffers inc and usually get it in 24 hours without paying for quicker shipping....

It stays good in the frig for a long time...
