I have a Maran Splash rooster LaMar LaRue who I though was a regular Splash Maran. But, the older he gets the more color that is coming out. So what do you think?

Mammie My only BCM left. She started laying 2 weeks ago. Nice 80gram eggs but the color is lite I'd say a 5 on the scale. I was will have to work on that.

That tail is way off for a Marans.

Oh? He came from a big #7 egg from a local Maran breeder. Think something else is in the breeding? Bummer! He's a nice rooster the ladies love him
