Marans Thread - breed discussion & pictures are welcome!

Ok...here is a couple of pics from the show of my birds. I must have been really tired....so many of my pics I took were blurry...usually I'm careful to check for that.

I could NOT for the life of me get my Marans girls to behave. When the flash went off on my camera they spazzed out!! This is the only pic I got of my black Marans girl and this was the first pic. She was not having any more after that!

this is my little chunky butterball Columbian Wyandotte hen that did so well.

My Coronation Sussex boy. He was not amused that I made him stand up from his nap

and the last non blurry photo I could find...I'll sort more in the morning when I'm more awake...

Hope this works. Having a hard time getting the pics from "uploads" to the forum.

The first one and the last one are definately roos! The second pic is a pullet; the third pic is up in the air for me. I had one pullet that showed as a roo as far as comb/wattles/ and attitude...until she laid an egg! Others will come forward with their opinions!
