I didn't know there was a difference. I 'd never heard of either until I saw them on GF. These appear to be black. I don't have any other marans. I did have some Cuckoos but they're gone now. I've never seen the blue.

you have silver birchens then. Silver Birchen is the more proper name for the black birchens. The blues are usually just referred to blue birchens, but proper is silver blue birchen. Hang on a minute...I look to see what I can find you on my uploaded photos. I think I should still have some there.

ok...forgive these girls their overcoloredness...they were from the beginning of my project and things have improved quite a bit since then, but this was the first one i could find. I need to get more photos of my birchens...I decided I will take photos of each of the ones that make my breeding pens for this next year

Id be ticked I always wanted a sister, but I always said that its probably a good thing one of us would have died! I dont usually get along with the girls my own age to much nonsense. Im the girl that will start a manure fight. but the older i get the easier it gets to tell fake girls from real girls.
Haha thats how my last relationship was until I caught him lying about feeding my animals. I dont get it whats the point in walking out to the pole barn and just sitting there? then coming in saying you fed the Animals. I had the key to the feed lol (this was when I was managing the boarding facility. so there was like 20 indoor horses and watering and watering the outside horses. Lying gets you know where and If your not going to actually do the work then let me do it... no biggy. oh i was ticked. people paying good money to feed/care for their animals and he wasnt doing it.

haha....you've got the built in crap detector too!? YYYAAAAYYY! Its funny how much we have in common. I didn't have a sister growing up, just two older brothers that were hell-yuns...maybe its a good thing I didn't have a sister growing up. I know...we should just adopt each other as a sister! haha

haha sooooo true. I always was told when I was growing up that the red hair was to serve as a warning to others...but I think its double edged...it also immediately puts you on the radar. I've gotten in trouble for things I didn't even do before because I got told I had that "look" in my eye.
