How old is your roo? Has he gone through his adult molt yet?

He is less than a year old. He has not gone thru an adult molt yet!

Hi Paul!

Let's give him until after the molt like Debbi and others have suggested....IMO, this looks to be the dreaded white feather to me and not the one that will regain its color, but lets hold out hope ok? I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Oooooo and Math Ace!!!!! THANK YOU and Ms. Wynette for the time and effort that you are spending on building the lists and keeping track of all the photo's and moving them. This is going to be a great learning tool for all. I can't wait to see it all compiled. You ladies totally ROCK!!!

Is that a fluffy Wellie butt I see there on the right?

Yep, Wellie, with one spur on the right, and the demon legged one is a Barnie!
How do they know to stick together?
Darn dark egged craze!
Too bad these girls are about 4 yrs. old. Maybe that is why I'm not getting any eggs...

The tail feather is white at the base. I Don't know if it is going to spread on what. I will be taking a photo of it in the next couple of days and then watching it.

Until folks contribute more pics with faults or DQ's in them, I think I am done on my thread with that section.

I am still contemplating how I want to set up the "GOOD" section.... I may not start that section until after Christmas.

Math~ I am sorry about the tail feather, it is very frustrating and yes they seem to just happen over night, don't they? What the heck are we going to do about the dreaded white feathers....I seem to be seeing and hearing more and more about them.
