It would be nice if all the chicks would go into the "Pose Mode" when they see the camera, wouldn't it? The only two birds that do that here are Roy and Pip. Every time the camera comes out, they are both right there hamming it up!

Sure wish the broodies would date stamp their eggs, I have no idea how long this hatch will take. One more is pipping now, but there are still 12 more to go. Looks like the one that hatched is a Splash!

no joke.....these guys are a bit more wild as I haven't had a whole lot of time to spend with them the last two weeks since they've been outside with everything going on. They'll tame down soon, just have to be patient

Debbi - I hope your friend's horse does okay - she's a good person to take such good care of her mare!!

Pink - the only time I've had that coloring was Red Star x BCM - looked exactly like that....

SO decided not to go to the sale.....VERY disappointed...have to neuter little pigs, instead...

My upcoming rooster, hatched about xmas. I like most of him but the back is short. His feet show no yellow tint but he does had a middle toe feather!

so sad you didn't get to go! I know how it goes tho....there is always just so much to do that sometimes ya gotta pass up the sales.

Thanks by the way! I'm loving a lot of the boys I have growing out right now. I'm loving that I'm able to cull earlier. It certainly helps to make the good ones really stand out more.
