that's a new on one me. I'd be curious to see if he does lose it indeed.Nope, not your screen. He does have a few saddle colored spots there. Almost like his saddle feathers are up there out of place and not down the sides on the saddle where they belong. I have been watching these feathers and they are slowly turning black from the base of the feather to the tip. Looks like the black color is traveling out the feather if that makes any sense.
I'm not sure on the tail color. I don't know for sure if it is another expression of overcoloring, similar to what happens on the breast or what? If it were me, with the test mating I would pick one of your girls with the most coloring on her neck and one without any color and test mate both separately and see what you get. Girls with the best body type you can get as well would give you a really good indication of what he's worth.Wonder what causes that red to move to the tail area like that. What do you think will happen if it doesn't go away and it remains?
I guess test mating is the only way to find out, huh?I should have had a V-8!![]()

I really really only want this birds egg color genetics and red. What type female would you pair this male up with?
Yes, I saw that too. This world is becoming a very scary place. I hate to think what it will be like when my grandkids are adults. My prayers go out to all involved...Have you guys heard of the shooting in CO? Horrible. Im in Law Enforcement and this really makes me angry! My heart goes out to all those Innocent people and the family's.
