Yes, just use them with the Blue Copper.. and cull the males. But someone couple of days ago had a similar problem and just sold them and said it is buyer beware. In the past many decades I have culled many thousand chickens and believe me they never made it into any breeding pens unless it was those in the sky.Sorry I am replying to a week-old post, but I've been putting up fencing and haven't had time for much else. My question is, if you are breeding blue coppers and folks think using black coppers produced from the blues shouldn't be used for breeding black coppers, what do you all do with those black copper chicks? Cull them all at hatch? Keep the pullet chicks and cull all the males?
