I think it is a single barred roo.... I don't think it is a pure breed Marans... the legs look off for a Cuckoo Marans.

no, he won't pattern in like a cuckoo, he will fill in like a silver, but muddy like. occasionally there will be a regular cuckoo looking chick, but so far not hardly any here.

indeed, I'm just still so thrilled with this batch of chicks from my birds. I've never in my life had this many chicks be this quiet. its crazy
