Wynette, I do not see a problem either way . I am just a straight to the point kind of person and believe in getting to the point and not trying to sugar coat. The snide remarks are what get me to turning red, and I am learning to let them roll off. The thing is at one time I respected these two people much in discussion Marans.

Don, yup - you most definitely have to grow a thick skin. Glad you're finding that you're able to do so.

Just take the posts for what they are...no one should be posting snyde remarks on here.

It's okay not to sugar coat; we all know that's not your style! We all know that MY style is probably too warm & fuzzy, but it is what it is.

I'd like to have a discussion about wing carriage. I've not seen any discussion of it previously...so am I to understand that there is no preference?

I thought that tight, and close to the body was preferred?? That's what I like anyway.

From the proposed SOP: WINGS: Short, held close to the body, carriage nearly horizontal.

I am old & have gotten a little tougher than I use to be but did find some of the criticism harsh. ..........On the other hand I do have to say I have learned so much that it is worth it. I just have to keep my big girl panties on so as not to be scared away..............!!!!! LOL

I don't think the size of the thread should cause a problem. It has a lot of info and different views are always a good thing. In addition...I don't usually use emoticons, so people can sometimes take me wrong. I am aware of this, so I try to use the right wording, but sometimes I don't. I have to particularly watch that my very strange sense of humor does not come out in my posts. People don't always come across as "nice" even when they are trying to be informative and civil.

Some days, it would be prudent to wear Kevlar panties! It's all good though if you are learning!

Walt, I think you're completely correct - and a good reminder at this point might be...if you're unsure of someone's reply, simply ask for clarification.
