mornin' lady!

Any chance you were gonna post photos of the Marans you've held back? I'm planning on working on it, although it might take me a while since I have to finish sorting and such.

Morning!

I don't have many Marans to post photos of, LOL!
Will see if the rain holds off for a while so I can go out and get some pics.

Lil' Bill we've all seen enough of him, especially me. He is a PITA!

Yesterday, he was on my list....BIGTIME. Causing trouble around all the coops because he was out and nobody else was. Just like Bill he is, trouble, trouble, trouble. Don't even get me started on how he torments the geese.

Haha, really? that's pretty funny. From time to time Gigantor and Big Boy team up and are dinks, but not lately.
I figured it wouldn't take you very long to get photos, certainly would be able to get it done before I can. I usually try to get photos from year to year of each bird I'll be using for my breeding programs and will label who goes with who and such. So I can follow the offspring and such.

Oh, on another note, I believe this morning down by the raspberry bushes, compost and other perrenial plants in the garden I could swear I heard baby chicks. I hunted around, but never found anything, but it also wasn't totally light out yet. I don't think I'm missing any birds, but they are trixy, so I'll look again. Its a bit unsettling since last night in the same area we had to kill a huuuge possom that was being aggressive.

Off topic for just one second........ how the heck do I make the multi quote function work??? Everytime I try what the little directions tell me to do, it never works.

I'm going to clean coops this afternoon so I will try to photos.

Yesterday, I let LB out on his own in the community yard like I do from time to time, but he wouldn't stop taunting the other boys in their coop runs from outside their fences. Causing quite the stir cause then the geese get involved and cheer on the ruckus. It's a regular hysterical circus 'round here every now and again.

Let me know what you find in the bush.

honestly, I kind of hope to find nothing. Its just hard on chickers here when its so cold out because the wind here is terrible and goes right through you, I can't imagine how it would be for the little munchkins.

I'm working on my line up for breeding this year and having a tough time deciding who to mate with who and what my focus will be as I could go several ways, but not enough time in the spring to hatch for every project I have. I don't have enough room for all the babies that would mean.

Here is that photo of Oxanna, I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt and grew her out. Look at how she holds her wings so high at the shoulder area and she is scrawny.
