HELP!

We had a broody hen, so we got her some fertile eggs. I can't remember for the life of me what he said I may get! Here's what we have. I know we have a White Leghorn, I'm pretty sure. The rest, I'm lost on. I don't want to say as not to influence comments.

Sadly, the White Marans chick arrived dead. The 2 Orpingtons & Brahma chick she was shipped with are doing well. I don't know what happened

. I'm just so glad the kids weren't home when I opened the box.

Oh I am so sorry to be reading this as my first ever white Marans chick arrived fat and happy and it is now in the yard and I cant catch it to take any pictures of it I do wish you well in you next attempt to acquire one of these little beauties ....

I was afraid of that. We were hoping for a cookbook or two. We were wracking both brains to remember and we thought he said those too...oh well, we like the eggs from Rocks too. We have 6 of them now. Thank you for your reply

I don't think I see ANY Cuckoos in that bunch. Yellow legs would mean barred rocks or some other mix.

I'm surprised they didn't have a minimum number of chicks to ship. Or did you order others as well?

Their minimum order was 3 & I ordered 5 but the silver laced cochin didn't hatch out so 4 were shipped in that box. I think she just wasn't strong enough for the shipping stress. The 2 orpingtons & 1 buff brahma who arrived with her are very happy & vigorous. I just REALLY wanted to raise a marans. *sigh* LOL I actually want 1 of each beautiful, friendly breed!

I was VERY disappointed when I opened their box & there was no heat pack. Last week we hovered around 100 most days, but this week we've experienced a 30 degree plunge! Do you ship chicks?
