It's so funny you say that. My last batch is now 8 weeks old, at one point I was just SICK of babies of varying ages, juveniles, and young adults...just wanted them ALL to be in their permanent, adult pens. Now...I'm getting the hatching itch again! NO!!!!

I know what you mean Wynette... I have some pullets due to lay any day....They are about to go in with thier rooster for fertile hatchies for "the Next Generation" of "Star Chix"

Space the final front yard, These are the voyages of the Star Chix from inside. It's 6 week mission: to explore strange new coops, hatch out new life and peep out to new civilizations and to bodly go where all hens have gone before.....

I am getting the "bug" as well... I am waiting on my best new pullet for my new generation. So Eggciting.

I am pretty new to the marans world. I currently have a pair of blue coppers that I got from PinkChick...I love them! and I also just purchased a flock or Golden Cuckoos. I am hoping to work with those two colors and perhaps start showing someday! Here are a couple pictures of my golden cuckoos...

Where are the blue birds? I simply love to look at those... Nice looking cuckoos... Where did you get them?

Geebs...

I dont have any pictures of my blues. they are still gangly teenagers, and they are free ranging still so I couldnt get close enough to get any pictures. I will try tonight.

I bought my GCM's from a lady near me, originally they were from Bill Braden. I cant wait for them to start laying. Once they do I will have eggs for sale.

Nope actually my marans are "Charlie" and the Chocolate Factory and the coop is WONKA!!!! Of course they are named after candy!!! Hershey, skittles etc... you get it...

But I do have a line of cartoon characters with a Silkie playing Spock... Bock of course, Captain Quack is actually a strange duck... ha ha I have drawn them all including my Bork line with hennymote my avatar... I would make it move if I could figure out how.

I too have the hatching bug. Just trying to get my coop finished first!

But just keep on typing Wynette, I'm gonna win those eggs in your contest!
