Thank you both so much. So the pullet not showing the copper will still throw it so if I do breed to the splash what will I get? No sorry I do not have pics right now but will try and get some this weekend. I love the blues but have not done any breeding with them. Pink, Bill and his girls make me very jealous but sooo happy for you

I don't really like the look of the copper splashes that I have seen, mine came thru a cuckoo line so no copper at all. I like the solid blue somewhat better but like horses the color means nothing without structure so my main goal like everyone else is to get the best birds first then worry about color but don't want to breed in what I latter have to breed out !

The dark blue has a very nice amount of copper in her hackles looks really good to me and the lighter one has no copper at all and both have that nice lacing but of course they are Bev Davis not mature yet so a little leggy but huge and sweet

If you want all blue coppers breed the blue and blue copper pullet to the splash roo. Now....the kiddos from the blue not showing any copper may come out showing little to none in the first generation. It can take a couple or more gens. to get the copper correct when using a blue that doesn't show it.

If you want a variety of blue, black and splash you could leave both roos over your gals and get all three colors.

Splash x Splash = 100% Splash
Blue x Blue = 50% Blue , 25% Splash and 25% Black
Blue x Splash = 50% Blue and 50% Splash
Splash x Black = 100% Blue
Blue x Black = 50% Blue and 50% Black
Black x Black = 100% Black
