Okay the word is in from Bev about the Blue Copper Color
DRAFT Standard and the questions about: Female Upper Breast.
Breast: Upper breast, blue with narrow lacing of coppery orange. As (Marquisella stated) it has not been submitted for approval yet, and is still being worked on, the individual color drafts were posted for all to see and discuss, before approval for clarification and changes.
So, the Blue Copper female will be the same as the Black Copper female, no lacing of coppery orange in the upper breast, breast should be blue and front of neck only will have Blue with narrow lacing of coppery orange. Now I would assume that the neck color should not advance past a certain point down the front of the neck and I am guessing that it should stop before hitting the upper breast. What are your thoughts on this folks?
The Copper blue female, should be just like the black copper, with copper only on the hackle feathers.
I'm not sure if there is a specific length of hackle feathers.
The tail feathers should all stop about at the same place, there should not be any "stragglers" hanging down. The tail is not supposed to be "long & flowing"

Sue~ Sorry I should have been more clear, I was referring to where the color in the hackle and front of neck should stop not the length of the hackle feathers.
In regards to the tail:
Is this considered too long?
