I had been giving them cranberries and turmeric scrambled eggs for the first few weeks, but stopped after new-years. I will go back to that, as it is cheap and easy. Not to mention they were not as sick back than.
Illa, I placed the order last spring when the prices were a bit more reasonable $75 a pair,....... but only just a bit! They have been shedding out their baby feathers and the down is just now, at about 12wks old, becoming visible as white at the shaft and base of the feathers. Kinda disappointing, but live and learn. They are nice looking roos otherwise... size and conformation wise.
marquisella, I will see if I can get some denagard and give it a try too, as I am almost at the end of my rope. I really do not want to be keeping birds this big in quarantine any-longer!
