no kidding! that transition last year fried quite a few of my cole crops. I was not too pleased about that. I am not giving up, it kind of actually makes me more stubborn and proactive about getting things done...haha... ( I blame it on the red hair)
That is what happened to us folks in Florida last year. . .. My garden wasn't worth a toot last year. . .
The two years before that - - - I gave lots of extra away, but NOT LAST YEAR!
It is looking real good this year. . . . Last year we had a late freeze 17 degrees in APRIL. It ruined all my crops. By end of May we were in the 90s. It was just horrid. The fall was just as bad this last year. . .
yeah...it was kind of the same thing here last year....we had so much rain and then cold snaps all during the spring, then all of a sudden I woke up one day and we had shot up into the 90's I had things bolting left and right...and all the rain came back after it had killed the cole crops and then drowned all my peppers...luckily my tomatoes did amazing...I waited til everything was over to plant them...
how soon can you guys get warm season crops out down there in FL? Are you able to garden year round? I am working on improving the place...it was overgrown and pretty neglected, but slowly am working my way towards a year round set up....one day at a time...bit by bit I'll get there
