Thanks Pink!!
Debbi I am sending color vibes your way.

The last chicks I hatched from that roo produced some nicely colored girls and some loud colored boys. The color is in there somewhere.
The chick is in the brooder, running around, chirping his head off! I can't believe how fast it recovered. I really thought it was dead when I brought it in.

I can only hope! The girls don't have much coloring, but I want the body type the boys have more. I can always work on color later!

Blue Birchens Marans are definitely on my future "wishlist" of breeds I will have when we move to a bigger property.

That and about 50 others...

They're not on my Wishlist, but they're something I wish I could see around. . . Rather tired of people passing of blue birds with gold leakage as Blue Birchens.

wow...I don't even have what could be called green grass yet....its funny how just a few hours drive south can make such a difference. I just got home from work and and taking enough time to eat lunch while I check out the forum....then I'm gonna be outside the rest of the day. Its 68 at the moment! I'm loving it. We are in the same boat up here with the severe weather on Monday coming in.

Just checked the incubator...got 5 various little stragglers still hatching...but almost done with the hatch...overall it was a wonderful success!

) Eggs should arrive soon....its a good thing I have places for most of my culls to go...or I'd be in trouble me thinks!
