I have them and just need to upload them. . . .We spent today working on Brooder # 3. This one is the BIGGEST and is turning into a beast of a project.
I think I did a BIG NO NO . . . . I stuck a 1/2 dozen of my own eggs in the frig for storage while I was collecting them. It just seemed too hot to store them anywhere else
Yesterday was day 21 AND NOTHING. NOTHING YESTERDAY OR TODAY. My eggs have always hatched, but not this time.
I am guessing the refrigerator was a BAD IDEA.....
Has anyone else ever tried it ?? ?
Sounds like you have your hands full there with that brooder! Can't wait to see all your pics!
I remember reading someone's post somewhere here on this forum about how they would just take eggs out of their fridge and toss them in the incubator and had success. I don't remember what their success rates were or anything, but I do know they did get some. Maybe they will just take a little bit longer? Not sure....
Spent the day so far fighting the wind and getting my first lettuce planted and made some cloches for over them out of gallon water jugs. Planted my garlic and red onions down in the perennial bed where I don't need to till. I also worked on spacing for the raspberry supports so I can transplant them. And still nooooo baby goats yet. Thinking I'm gonna have to check and see if there is a breech baby...poor little doe.
I'll have to get some pics of my garden when things get to growing...right now its just a big section of dirt...
Its one of those days..where I feel behind on everything
