IVYWOODS,

We started putting coop #1 together this afternoon. Then we had to go back to the hardware store for some more lumber ( different size than what we had already bought). Dh does most of his thinking on the FLY so there are more trips to the store when he gets involved.

We may finish framing it in tomorrow. If we get that far - -- - Then next weekend will be siding time.

It will be a weekend doing the door and windows and roof. Plus, one more weeked to fence and secure the area under the coop.


So, the RACE is ON girl . .. . get your Dh moving!

Sure no problem. . .. .

Start at the beginning of the head - - - Count every point ( no matter how small) until you hit the blade. Any points on the blade do not count as points.

If you are talking show points - -- The comb is worth 5 pts. The is a 1/2 pt deduction for each point extra or missing from the 5 points required by the standard.

I can not help you here. My flock has comb issues. . . .

Wynette has nice comb birds and some of the other folks that tend to come on LATER in the night have birds with nice combs. .. .

So, wait patiently and I am sure someone on here can get pics of a good combs.

Haha...yeah...I'm no help with the comb either...its a work in progress here.. Hopefully someone indeed will stop by with a good photo!

I found some - - - Buttercup and Golden Hubbard squash seeds! SCORE, I thought I was going to have to order these seeds.

I will be thrilled if ANY chicks survive from the carnage . . . . . .
My son and I will NEVER forget the image of my dad picking that incubator up and raising it above his head and throwing it across the room.

I am hoping they can stablize him with new meds so that he can come back home to us. Otherwise. . . .
