To young to choose... DRAT!!! Oh well.. I still have a couple girlies for you... I would like to see the little fellas a little older before I choose a girlie for you... make sure I get a good connection.

So I go to the trouble to get up & make a pot of coffee

, thinking I would log on to BYC to either SEE the spectacle or BE the spectacle... and there is nobody here. Either everyone got "blown away" by tornadoes yesterday or they drown in the floodwaters, I guess

Good morning all

I would like to extend my prayers and good wishes to the folks in the south. I hate tornadoes. I hope all of our BYCers in Alabama and Georgia are well.

I got up BEFORE you and was busy running around the yard SQUIRTING crowing roos. . .. .

I've got too many crowing now! The teenagers are starting to crow really good and LOUD now!

i need reinforcements. . . ..

So, while you were sipping your coffee, I was realizing that I MIGHT be too old to run all over my yard at 7:30 in the morning.
Who needs aerobics when you have crowing roosters ? ? ? ?

While I was trying to catch a breath . ... I was thinking about electric shock collars. . . . Do you think I could find one smaller enough to fit on a roosters neck? Then I could get the 4 older roos and the 3 teenagers all at the same time AND not pass out in the yard!

They make motion sensors that spray water when there is a critter (dog or rabbit) in the area, but that wouldn't work for your birds unless the DH could rig something with a sound sensor to a high pressure sprinkler system. The entire idea for an "anti-crowing device" for Roosters could be fuel for a great invention though, as most cities that have chicken odinances prohibit Roosters for that very reason. (I LOVE the waterhoser smiley!)

good to see you around again Mel! morning everyone!

We officially have this thing called sunshine and no high winds. I think it must be a miracle!! Its strange to think its almost May, but have had little decent spring weather so far. If these nice temps keep up for a few days, I might be able to get my garden going!
