$44.25 is what they went for...but I chatted with the seller and am waiting for another pm back about when I can just order them. I would like to get them going as soon as possible so that I could raise them up over winter.

BTW: Thank you for your words of advise on gold/silver leakage stuff. I figured that is what is was but since they are new to me I wasn't sure. The older boy (IS HUGE) he has some silver coming in on his wing bow now. The older boy has a lighter eye color than the younger boy, but not too light it isn't acceptable. The younger boy has good eye color but I am not in love with the shape of his eye. What makes the inner aspect (the corner of the eye socket skin) of the eye look at elongated and stretched out? With this elongated stretched out eye stuff I see more of the eyeball than wanted, I don't like that. Hard to describe but I hope you understand what I am talking about.

yeah...I know what you are talking about with that stretched out eye kind of look. I've had a couple of birds get that...no just in the marans and only one didn't end up growing out of it. I guess I chalk it up to that teenagery ugly stage growth they go through. For me its never been something that seems to show up consistently in breeding that would lead me to believe it is a genetic thing. That and i think there are just some birds that just are not that pretty. What are ya gonna do, ya know?

I'm here for any questions you might have! I am just so happy people are getting into the birchens....they need some major lovin to get them where they need to go!
