thanks!!! I am sooo glad I showed! It was my debut back into showing after being out of it for a long while, and was so nervous beforehand I thought about just not showing at all. I'm glad I didn't let my nerves get the best of me!

Hi all. Hoping to get some help identifying the sex of my Marans. I got four, two week old FBCM on Sept. 2. That makes them about 10 weeks. Until this week I thought for sure I had three hens and one rooster but now I am leaning more towards three roosters and one hen. One is very clearly a rooster. Two of them started showing some cooper in the hackels, have bigger combs and wattles. Can anyone give me there opinion on Hen/Rooster? Thanks in advance. I have been waiting a long time for Marans and can't wait for the first eggs! Hmmmm. Can't figure out how to attach pics.

Go up to the top of the page, in the blue line, and click on "Uploads". Follow directions. Use the drop down menu for "message boards" for you pic size uploads, if it already isn't set that way.

At ten weeks, it should be very obvious who is what!
