I am in NE FL so it does freeze here usually here and there between December and the beginning of March. Kinda a mini winter lol. In South FL they don't hardly freeze so can garden more throughout the year...that's where I need to go live LOL! It is almost time to start tomato and pepper seeds for spring planting though. I usually start them in the beginning of January.

Never been a dude, nor did I ever want to be. Never claimed to be a lady either. The Women's Rights movement went right on over my head here. Never could see the reason behind it; I've always done what I wanted to...irregardless. More like Popeye; "I ams what I ams, and that's all that I ams".

I can't wait to make a salad. There is nothing as delicious as home grown lettuce. So rich, like butter melting in your mouth!
Now don't be too disappointed. My garden is in. My red leaf and bibb lettuce are ready to start picking. The collards and beets are looking good. The onions are looking Fantastic. I am pretty sure the peas are ready to pick too!
