Should've taken my camera out to the run this morning. Pink, remember the hen I told you about, that when she molted and the feathers came back in, she had mottling?? "Precious", is the hen with the carnation comb that started my whole mess. She is usually a keep to herself kind of gal. This morning, she followed me all over the run, and then just stood there looking at me for the longest time. ???? She has now got WHITE eyebrows, and white spots on her head, and the mottling on her back!! She is very dark, but her eye color is ok, not as good as the boys', but a lighter shade of orange. I'll have to get a pic of her later, it's very odd...

I am noticing some white eyebrows pin feathes as well and have asked a couple times what they are and why but have not received a response except from Ms. Geebsie and she stated that she thinks it may have to do with age. In my older gals, I can accept that, but I can't accept that in birds that are 6 mos. old.
