It was 5 degrees toDAY - know how much easier my chores would be, if it only went below freezing at night time!!
Our typical winters (this NOT being one!) stay below freezing from Dec to March/April!!
I don't see why taking away the water at night wouldn't work for your adult birds, though!
Once they're up on the roosts, they can wait until morning for a fresh drink,
That would be the easiest and least expensive, if it only gets that cold once in a great while where you live! (Any openings for COLD visitors? Say about February?
