Thanks Don, I need to build one of those! I even have that white tile board in my shed. What wattage of a bulb do you use over the top?

The measurements for this light box are as follows. 48" wide X 36" High X 36 " deep. Made with 2x2 with 1/2" plywood all the panels are screw together for quick take apart if need be. I have this one set up in my wood working room. Any questions just let me know.

If you guys want a book that will change your life, get the WHEAT BELLY book. The doctor writes about how wheat has been so genetically modified that it is unhealthy to eat,. Modern wheat is one of the biggest causes of diabetes and heart problems, not to mention acid problems and fat bellies! Google it and read the reviews of people getting off wheat. Incredible results! Wheat has a higher gycemic index than table sugar! Bad stuff. I got off wheat 6 weeks ago and lost 12 pounds so far and don't have anymore acid reflux! I am not tired any more and feel great. I am 60 and have no aches or pains. I am so greatful to my daughter for sending me this book. Please look into it!
Man, oh man! I read Wheat Belly an about fell out of my chair! I am 60 too. What a revelation! I will never look at wheat the same again. Stopped by our local organic store and bought 5 lbs. of spelt flour. Since they didn't really start hybridizing wheat till 1950, cookbooks before that were using the more primitive flour. My Mom had sent me or old Settlement Cookbook ( 1941 edition) and I used the recipe from that for homemade quick biscuits with the spelt flour. They were yummy! Kinda nutty tasting just like the book said. BTW, we strated eating modern bread again and are both seeing weight gain on our bellys. Time to get back on the program, strip out the modern wheat and only use spelt flour when necessary. This book will blow your mind!
We both lost 60 lbs. each by counting carbs only (total of 10-12 carb choices a day person). Hubby Bob ws just dianosed with type 2 diabetes when we started. Now he is almost off his meds and doing much better. Using diet alone to controll it.
15grams of carbs equals one carb choice. The best and easiest place to learn all this is the free diabetes classes given by your local hospital. Usually 3 sessions. They let pre-diabetics come too. They explain all this and take you thru eating choices too. Gotta love that Dreamfields pasta. Each serving had 41 grams of carbs like ay other pasta...however all but 5 g of carbs are "protected carbs" and not taken up by the body. So 5g of carbs per serving...3 servings of pasta for one carb choice instead of 8.2 choices for other brands.
BTW, Metformin is the only diabetic drug which is also a major cancer preventative. Fascinating professional research on it. Used to be the wonder drug of the 30's and then forgotten. It takes care of sugar issues for diabetics and helps prevent a notable number of different cancers.
Wheat Belly Rules!

Debbi, it is the 25w daylight Bulb. It gives off a nice white color. I use this one for a lot of pictures of craigs list items on the farm, best money I ever spent.

Have you tried filling a bag with water and hanging it? I keep hearing that flies don't like them and avoid areas that have them. Of course this won't help with mosquitoes or other annoying bugs :(
too true. the water has to be crystal clear like distilled water. It's the refections off the sun thru the water the flies don't like.

Hmmm, evidently Missouri flies didn't get this memo! I just went out to the front porch and the chicken run, and there were flies sitting all over the bags!

Oh well, at least it didn't cost anything...

thanks Don for posting the light box and listing the dimensions. I was thinking about possibly adding hinges to something similar to yours so I can put it flat against the wall. Space is a premium in the main part of the barn, so just trying to come up with a space saving version I can use daily if I need and get it out of the way the rest of the time.
